Juliett Novak is a singer-songwriter and pianist. She is a versatile pop artist capable of dissolving boundaries between classical, jazz, and pop. Born in Slovakia, she currently divides her time between the US and Belgium. Juliett began studying music from an early age, dedicated to classical piano and opera singing. Later she studied musical theatre and jazz. Nowadays she works primarily in pop.
She graduated from the Music Conservatory and the Academy of Performing Arts in Slovakia. She also attended the “Stage Performance Workshop” at Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA, where she presented her original songs in a series of concerts.
While in Boston, Juliett Novak was also a member of the Harvard Gospel Choir “Kuumba Singers” and performed with them in Cambridge, Boston, and New York. She has also given several self-produced solo performances in Brussels, Boston, and Washington DC.
Juliett Novak has an incredible passion for music and has been committed to her professional music career for the past several years. Her goal was to compose, arrange, and produce her own album, and she is currently finishing it.
First, she recorded songs in Johannesburg, South Africa with a live band in 2014. Later, in 2015, she recorded two songs with Grammy-nominated producer Arty Skye in New York. It was only recently that she decided to take full artistic control and produce an album by herself.
She wrote all of the lyrics and composed the music for her upcoming debut album “Find Your World” (coming out soon). She even produced her own music videos. Her main reason for doing everything by herself was to have a full understanding of the entire process. “Doing everything myself, I’m able to interpret the sounds and visuals and make my vision come to life.”
One of her biggest influences has been Alicia Keys. In addition to composing and recording, Juliett Novak is dedicated to teaching singing, piano, and songwriting. In 2016 she was ranked among the top 10 coaches in DC.
Juliett Novak is on radio rotation with two versions of the song “Work It Out” and “No Regrets”.
